FOWLER WINS AUCTIONEERS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Nick Fowler of Glenwood, Arkansas “wins the 2007 Auctioneers World Championship here in America's Number One Vacation Destination this
weekend when he posted the highest average score of 94.75 through the
two go rounds. Nick is a second generation auctioneer and the President of Fowler Auctioneers Inc. a Real Estate and Personal Property based Auction Co. located in Glenwood AR. were he resides with his wife Rachel and children Ty, Bailey and Drew.
Fowler took the winning purse of $10,000 cash, the 2007 World
Champion Auctioneer Buckle and Trophy in a close call with runner-up Casey Enlow of Oklahoma. Less than two points separated Fowler and Enlow.
“I think Casey is one of the best auctioneers in the world. His chant
is very clear and fast, “I feel very fortunate to have won this event. I have worked hard to get here from winning the Arkansas State Championship in 2004. "I love this business very much and had an awesome time in the competition, “Fowler said to the audience hosting the Clay Cooper Theater.
Enlow, picking off the 2nd place purse of $1,500 cash and the 2007
World Reserve Champion Buckle, will also have his entry fee paid in
the next Auctioneers World Championship.
"Nick is one of the best auctioneers in the business and well earned this title" Enlow said. “It was a tough event that I enjoyed very much.”
Auctioneers were judged on bid calling, clarity, speed, salesmanship, crowd
communications, product knowledge and appearance.
The panel was made up of judges from Arkansas, Texas and Indiana
Fowler scored high in the International Auctioneers Championship (IAC) last month in San Diego California but didn’t walk away with a win. “It was a tough competition that taught me allot. I’m not a quitter, and I hope to win the International title one day.
